GTA 6 It would be accompanied by a “no crime” mode which disinfects the game, making weapons inaccessible and disabling violent actions. According to Insider Gaming, the mode will also allow players to drive “legally”.

How the rumored GTA 6 mode is impacting the game

Insider Gaming claims to have heard from their sources that GTA 6’s Crime Free Mode can be easily activated at any time during gameplay, somewhat similar to the Passive Mode found in GTA Online and Red Dead Online. The mode will remain in effect until the end of the game session.

So what does Crime Free Mode do? Among other things, it would make weapons inaccessible, remove the ability to commit violent acts, and essentially force players to act like law-abiding citizens.

Insider Gaming says Rockstar Games even has plans for features that make driving more legal, with speed restrictions, lane assist, and more.

It looks like enabling Crime Free Mode will make GTA 6 more difficult in some ways. The report states that if players end up in a firefight, they will need to take cover. Racing will also be virtually impossible as there will be speed limits.

That being said, players will be rewarded for completing certain side activities “peacefully” with Crime Free Mode enabled.
