Rockstar Games may remove content in the future GTA 6 DLC to avoid further delaying the game, trusted tipster Tez2 suggested. Tez2 has made a name for itself when it comes to Rockstar-related leaks, which is why this rumor has quite a few fans worried.

Previous Rumors Suggest GTA 6 DLC Will Include Single Player Content

In a screenshot circulating on Reddit (via Dexerto), Tez2 indicates that Rockstar is aiming for a 2024 holiday release window for GTA 6. Unfortunately, however, the game could slip into early 2025. But given the he scale of GTA 6 and the length of time since the last GTA was released, there seems to be some pressure to keep the next entry from slipping further.

“I don’t think senior management is in a position to delay any further until vacation 2025/2026,” Tez2 wrote. “Cutting more parts of the game to package them as DLC for later release may be arguable for management to further delay.”

Tez2 added that Rockstar is also having staffing issues as it tries to force employees back into the office post-pandemic.

Previous reports suggest that GTA 6 will have single-player DLC, which is good news for fans who were left disappointed when the studio dropped single-player DLC plans for GTA V.
