Gotham Knights debuted last year on various platforms and PC. It seems that the title did not have the expected results at its launch, since it failed to reach the popularity of its predecessor, Batman Arkham. This doesn’t seem to matter to Warner Bros, as the title has received new content and patches over the months.
It seems that the study is preparing a lot more content, as they announced through the official account of the title on Twitter. This new DLC will include well-known characters from the franchise such as Harley Quinn, Mister Freeze and ClayFace. All of these tie into a new, as yet unrevealed questline. From what we see in the image of the trophy list, this new expansion will feature new criminals, completely revamped boss fights, new wanted enemies, and many more events.
The announcement of new content for a title is always good news for gamers. In the case of Gotham Knights, it seems there are more doubts than joys. It is enough to take a look in the comments of the publication to realize that the fans of the franchise are not very happy with the title and even less with this possible extension. We will have to wait to see if it meets expectations and if it improves the gaming experience a little more.
