A quick call and congratulations! You are the new mayor of Go-Go Town; a run-down tourist destination, well past its prime. Like its inhabitants…
Build
With some tips from the older residents of Go-Go Town, you’ll soon learn the ins and outs of being the mayor of the town, starting with building and repairing buildings. It’s all in the name of encouraging more tourists to visit!
But don’t worry, the job will be a breeze with your tools: chainsaws, drills, trimmers, leaf blowers and other power tools are at your disposal.
And once you’ve repaired the dilapidated buildings, decorated the town, and built new stores, it’s time to put on your planning hat.
Manage
You will have to make sure everything is going well.
Make decisions about which stores to build, who will run them, how stores will generate revenue, and how to manage store supply chains, while ensuring your infrastructure is robust to prevent major disasters.
Will you build an arcade with a dancing game and neon lights? But then again, wouldn’t it be great to have a burger joint in town? And what better with a burger than a place to buy ice cream and milkshakes. And the memories? Who wouldn’t want a Go-Go Town souvenir!
Automate
Running a town will keep you busy, but don’t worry: your townspeople are eager to help!
Develop your industries by hiring miners, fishermen, loggers or farmers; Boost your town’s trade by hiring merchants, artisans and hot dog vendors; And get those products where they need to be with a team of messengers!
With the right combination of tools, strategies, and infrastructure, your city will be a well-oiled machine.
Develop
You’ll soon realize that your bustling little town needs more space to grow!
Through the Tech Tree, you’ll be able to unlock features like terraforming, giving you even more control over your city’s growth. Bigger houses, buildings like art galleries and a greater variety of objects that will allow you to give your personal touch to each of the blocks.
Prosper
But all the hard work you put into Go-Go Town won’t go unnoticed!
Word of your exploits will spread and soon tourists will be flocking to town. With cash to spend, they’ll turn to Go-Go Town for places to eat and play, benches to rest, and beautiful scenery they can post to social media.
Some of them may like him enough to want to move to town.
