Capcom has officially announced the release date for the remaster of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. It will be released on June 30, 2023. The announcement was made during the Capcom Spotlight presentation.
There is already an official Steam page for this remaster. People can pre-order the game for $29.99. Pre-order bonuses include four themed wallpapers featuring the main characters and two songs unlocked from the start.
This remaster of the DS classic will feature HD picture quality, higher frame rates and a simplified user interface. Additionally, a concept art image gallery and a soundtrack music player will be available. The game also includes a new feature, a mini-game called “Ghost Puzzles”. In it, players have to rearrange the tiles to create the correct order of images.
Capcom originally released ghost ride for the Nintendo DS in 2010, later porting the game to iOS devices. In the story, a ghost named Sissel uses her newfound supernatural powers to uncover the mystery of her murder and protect more of those involved in the case. This new remaster was first announced during the Nintendo Direct broadcast on February 8, 2023.
