This Genshin Impact player managed to defeat Azhdaha, the toughest boss in the game, Dehya being AFK the whole time. HoYoverse released community stats last year for the anime game’s second anniversary, and Azhdaha was named as the boss that killed the most players. Defeating him as Dehya without moving a muscle is impressive to say the least.
With the release of Genshin Impact version 3.5, you might have heard that Dehya is a sort of aimless character with a lot of flaws as he basically plays like a tank in a game with little need for it. But the tank is something he can do well, which makes him nearly impossible to kill with the right build.
To beat Azhdaha in AFK, a Chinese player gave Dehya the artifact set Ocean-Hued Clam and The Bell Claymore, a weapon considered useless in the community until now. Increases the user’s HP stat, but no Claymore user needed this HP increase until Dehya appeared.
The bell also generates a shield whenever the wearer takes damage, providing even more protection. The Ocean-Hued Clam Artifact Set deals damage whenever a character heals, and Dehya heals herself when low on health.
So even in AFK this cycle of damage taken and inflicted continued for about 45 minutes until Azhdaha finally died from slow HP loss and possibly boredom. Dehya dies once, but Barbara’s C6 revives her, continuing the eternal cycle. You can watch the full, sped-up video below.
