Genshin Impact Sayu’s drift memes are hilarious in their depiction of the ninja’s movement with his elemental ability, and one player has turned these memes into reality with a steering wheel controller. Few characters in the anime game have ways to boost speed and help the party get from place to place faster than normal sprint, and Sayu’s ability, arguably the funniest to use, has now been improved.
Some characters like Rosaria and Dehya increase the team’s sprint speed based on the time of day, but these are only passive. Meanwhile, Ayaka and Mona have alternate sprints that speed up their run at the expense of stamina, for cool effect.
Sayu, Yelan, and Wanderer, on the other hand, all have elemental speed boost abilities that exist separately from normal sprint. These skills don’t consume stamina and have the coolest mechanic of all movement boosts.
As for Sayu, she curls up into a ball and starts rolling, which is where all the drift memes come from. A Reddit user named Mr_Raymann recently posted a video of Sayu being controlled using a steering wheel and shifter to take this move to the next level. And of course, the music video is set to the Initial D anime soundtrack.

In the thread, Mr_Raymann explains that the steering wheel is considered a Logitech peripheral, so it can be plug and play using Logitech software which will allow you to assign buttons and controls to the steering wheel, pedals and shift lever speed.
Sayu is currently not available in Genshin Impact version 3.5, but she can still pull Dehya and Cyno for about a week before Ayaka and Shenhe arrive in the second half of the update.
