The Winds of Anthos is the next Harvest Moon game, first look

Natsume announced Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos late last year with almost no information, but has now followed up with proper details and screenshots. The game will be released later in 2023.
Here is what has been shared so far:
The land players will explore is known as Anthos and is home to the Harvest Sprites, spirits that protect people and nature, as well as the nature goddess known as Harvest Goddess. However, around 10 years ago, an unprecedented eruption in the volcanic region of Anthos forced the Harvest Goddess and her Harvest Sprites to use all of their powers to protect the people. People were saved, but the eruption left villages cut off from each other…
Believing that the separated villages and people would one day be reconnected, the harvest goddess sent a bottle into the ocean with a letter and a magic key, then fell into a deep sleep…

- Discover five unique towns with their own stations, terrains and villagers! Explore the world of Anthos in search of Harvest Wisps, wild animals, mines and more!
- Take care of livestock like cows, sheep, chickens and more, and earn bonuses on your farm for having a variety of animals!
- Court five different bachelors and five different bachelors! Marry whoever your heart desires!
Have pets like cats, dogs, parakeets, wolves and more!- Doc Jr. is back with a new and improved Expando Farm that allows you to easily move your farm to the lands of Anthos!
- Cook multiple dishes in your kitchen at the same time!

This new opus is the culmination of more than 30 games! Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos includes beloved characters like Harvest Sprites and Harvest Goddess and familiar objectives like farming and animal care, but it also takes the player in new directions as they explore a new world. Every part of this new title has been shaped by our company mission: to make everyone happy!

The title will be released later this year. Technically, we have no confirmation that it will reach To changebut that seems like a formality given the series’ history on the platform.
