Genshin Impact 3.6 release date
If the next update follows the usual six-week cycle, it looks like the Genshin Impact 3.6 release date is April 12.
Genshin Impact 3.6 Live Stream
The live stream usually takes place a week or two before the update, so we’ll let you know what to expect with the latest Genshin Impact events and the next Genshin Impact banner once the live stream airs.
Genshin Impact live streams usually start on a Friday, but they also took place on weekends. We expect the Genshin Impact 3.6 live stream to take place in late March or early April. Be sure to tune into the live stream, as this is where new Genshin Impact codes are released.
Genshin Impact 3.6 Character Banners
Hoyoverse has officially announced two new characters on its social platforms, and if these announcements follow previous patterns, these characters will make their way to the 3.6 update.
The first is a five-star Dendro character, Baizhu, who owns the Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue, in addition to being Qiqi’s guardian. He possesses a talking white snake named Changsheng, which sits on his shoulders and is said to make bitter medicine that ameliorates illnesses.
Joining him is another Dendro character and “the renowned architect of Sumeru”, also known as the light of Kshahrewar, Kaveh. This is a four-star character and will possibly appear in the second banner of the update.
Genshin Impact 3.6 Repeat Banners
While we know that Raizhu and Kaveh will definitely be coming in 3.6, there isn’t as much information about the two returning characters. 77_avenaA Twitter account that posts Genshin Impact leaks from other leakers around the world, posted the latest information from Vississ and Tao, who claim that Nahida and Ganyu will return to the game.
To add more fuel to this rumor, Update 3.6 includes the Nahida Second Story Quest. While this doesn’t necessarily indicate that Nahida will definitely hit a banner repeat in this update, it would make more sense for the devs to match a banner in conjunction with a story quest.
Genshin Impact 3.6 Sumeru Expansion
We were aware of a possible Sumeru expansion thanks to the data leaks we highlighted in our Genshin Impact 3.4 release date guide. According to the latest Genshin Impact Desert leak, the expansion will take place from the northwest part of the Hadramavet Desert.
twitter user time! posted a screenshot of the game map in beta 3.6 with the new names of the two desert areas: Gavireh Lajavaru and the Kingdom of Farakhkert. These locations contain two new realms, Sin-Cleansing Spring and Fragrant Inland Sea. Both realms reward players with 40 Primogems, 55,000 Mora, and various talent books.
When the Sumeru Desert was last expanded, the developers made sure to include Alhaitham Ascension Materials in this area. Players will most likely need to find the Kaveh or Baizhu ascension materials by defeating Apep, the region’s weekly boss. Apep is rumored to be a snake-like boss, similar to the recently released Setekh Wenut.
