Commanders will be able to complete their experience with the Victory Edition. This edition includes a detailed digital campaign guide providing additional information about the game, five digital wallpapers and Frank Klepacki’s evocative soundtrack, encompassing a wealth of complex and conflicting emotions reflecting the First World War. The Great War: Western Front offers players the opportunity to relive or redefine history in one of history’s most pivotal conflicts, taking command of Allied or Central Powers forces. Players will assume full control of the Western Front as theater commander and field commander, and must make tough decisions in both the turn-based grand strategy and real-time strategy game to preserve the will their faction’s national identity through an immersive campaign that spans the duration of the war and can stretch beyond 1918 depending on your actions. Players can choose between starting the conflict in 1914 or 1916, assuming leadership at an opportune time when public support wanes and both sides turn to new technologies such as planes and tanks in an effort to break out of the conflict. ‘dead end.
