Developer Playground Games has revealed that Forza Horizon 5’s second major expansion is all about off-roading. “Rally Adventure” expansion pack released March 29 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The new DLC harks back to the beginnings of Forza Horizon. The first game in the series also featured a rally expansion, although it was a more linear affair. Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure will feature its own open-world map, just like FH3’s Blizzard Mountain and FH4Fortune Island.
Your Forza Horizon 5 rally adventure has arrived! Drive purpose-built rally monsters and conquer the rugged Sierra Nueva. Join up to three rally teams and tackle Horizon’s most exciting routes in timed rally and multi-car races.
Feel the intensity of huge dust trails and deformable roads in 10 new cars and experience the explosive flames of anti-lag. Explore spectacular craters, an abandoned quarry and a completely destroyed palm forest.
While this DLC sounds like a lot of fun, it’s definitely a “safer” effort than some expected. It looks like Forza Horizon 5 won’t be getting its own unique crossover DLC pack, as seen in the last two titles in the series.
