The final week of the Japanese Cars playlist is finally here, which means it’s springtime in Forza Horizon 5. Like every week, changing seasons mean new challenges to complete and rewards to earn. Let’s take a look at what’s happening this week, including a new scavenger hunt and photo challenge.

All Weekly Playlist Challenges
Weekly Civic Duty Challenge
- Own and Drive the 1997 Honda Civic Type R
- Win two road events in the Civic
- Gain Hardloader Capability on the Civic
- Photograph the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ
#Forzathon Daily Challenges
- Earn 5 stars in Drift Zones in any Japanese vehicle
- Maintain a speed of 200 MPH (321.9 km/h) for 10 seconds in the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ
- Get maximum speed ability in The Eliminator
- Complete the “On a Wing and Prayer” Showcase Event
- Earn 3 stars on any danger sign in an Infiniti vehicle
- Win a drag race
- Photograph the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ
A new challenge is unlocked every day of the week. Players will receive one point and 20 Forzathon Shop points for each challenge completed.
weekly racing challenges
- Completa “Trail Tourers” in The Trial (must enter Hall of Fame to unlock, rewards are 10 points and the Honda NSX-R GT)
- Take the Eventlab Challenges (rewards are 6 points, a Forza Link reward and a Super Wheelspin)
- Complete the “Survival” seasonal playset (the reward is 3 pts. and the 1997 Nissan GT-R)
- Complete the Danger Sign Challenge (rewards are 2 points and Super Wheelspin)
- Complete the Drift Zone challenge (rewards are 2 points and Super Wheelspin)
- Full season championships. (rewards are 10 points, Mazda MX-5 2016 and Subaru WRX 2008)
weekly challenges
- Treasure hunt – This week’s Chase will first ask you to pick up a 1992 Toyota Supra 2.0 GT. Then look for any signs of danger and get at least one star. Once you’ve done this, an orange circle will appear around Hotel Castillo, located north of Guanajuato. You’ll find the chest inside the castle, just behind two golf carts.
- photo challenge – Photograph any Honda or Acura next to the stone lanterns in the secret cave near Ek’ Balam (Rewards are Forza Link Reward and 2 pts.)
- open horizon – Complete a Horizon Open Drift event in any Japanese vehicle (rewards are 2 points and the Silvia 1998)
Monthly challenges
- Monthly Rivals (Circuit Plaza) – Post a clean round to complete (reward is 4 points – will only give one point per playlist)
- Forza EV (prosperous earth circuit) – Post a clean round to complete (reward is 4 points, will only give one point per playlist)
hot wheel events
- full speed trap (rewards are 2 points and Super Wheelspin)
- full season championship (rewards are 5 points and the Hot Wheels outfit)
20 points are needed to win the 1965 Sports 800, while 40 points are needed for the Nissan Sentra.
This playlist will end on March 2.
