New Fortnite BriteStar and Sam Wilson Captain America cosmetics are here in the Battle Royale game as part of the wait for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, and one skin, in particular, is a sly reference to a character from Marvel Comics with the same name. . While we’ve already seen Steve Regors Captain America arrive in the game, this is the first good look we’ve got at the MCU Sam Wilson Captain America suit.

It’s not yet clear how long the two Fortnite skins will be in the Item Shop, but Marvel says the Sam Wilson Captain America set will be here for a “limited time.”

Although unconfirmed, the character’s original Fortnite BriteStar look appears to be a reference to Marvel Comics Bright Star, a version of Captain America who has not appeared in the MCU at the time of writing. It’s unconfirmed if BriteStar is inspired by Bright Star, but the Captain America influences of the two seem to be pretty obvious.
