Epic Games has once again come up with a massive event for its hit Battle Royale, Fortnite.

After Travis Scott last spring, Fortnite was once again the scene of a virtual concert as part of an event called “Rift Tour”. This time around, Epic Games has chosen international star Ariana Grande to make its players dance in a game mode specially created for the occasion, demonstrating the impressive capabilities of its in-house engine, l’Unreal Engine.

Starting off with surfing on a highway of paintings, and with music from Juice WRLD / Marshmello, the event then continues its way to an area where the environment reacts to both music (Audio, from Sia / Diplo / Labrinth / LSD) and player actions, then moving on to Ariana Grande and a few of her main singles (including 7 Rings, Be Alright, Positions, The Way and REM).

The star was present – in any case, his skin – to thrill the players present, through different tables. One of the highlights being the one that sums up quite well what Fortnite has become over the years: a game of mutual aid and cooperation, as you can see in our video visible above.

Note that‘it is still possible to attend one of the performances. To do this, log in this Sunday a little before 4 p.m., or tonight a little before midnight, and select the “Rift Tour” mode to enter the game. Skins, emotes, glider and collection tool are also available in the shop, for 25 €, or 2,800 VBucks. The mode also has free rewards.
