A bug in Fortnite causes trees to disappear on the island
But the deployment of the latest update introduced a bug that affects the PS5 version, causing some concern among players. In fact, an error appeared, remove trees from maps, create a landscape devoid of vegetation. The images quickly went around the web, causing a stir within the community. Besides, ScyanYT shared in a tweet image comparison showing updated before and after from a lush tree lined landscape to an arid setting.

Fortunately, in response to this problem, Fortified Status told to investigate on a bug that prevents island details from displaying correctly when players are in the Battle Bus. They also pointed out that the problem only affected the PS5 version of the game, although some Xbox players have also reported similar issues. The tree bug is just one of many issues Epic Games devs are currently working on, according to their Public Trello board.
