Former God of War and Uncharted developers have been quietly working on a new IP alongside a team of industry veterans. Founded by the leaders of Titanfall and Apex Legends, Wildlight Entertainment has a collection of awesome resumes.
God of War, Uncharted devs, new IP has been in development for a while
According to its website, Wildlight Entertainment is a “fully-funded” remote studio “hyper-focused on creating big, bold, original game universes of epic quality and scale.”
Wildlight says its unannounced IP has been in development for a while, but it will “take a while” before the developers have anything to share with fans.
“We’re a tight-knit group that’s helped create some of gaming’s biggest IPs, including Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and Titanfall,” the website continues. In fact, reviewing the development team’s resume highlights games like Call of Duty, What Remains of Edith Finch, Uncharted 2, The Last of Us, Resistance 3, Marvel’s Spider-Man, God of War 3, and more.
“We are driven by our deep passion for creating AAA games that leave a lasting impact on the world, and we combine that drive with a commitment to quality in all aspects of our work,” says Wildlight.
It all looks pretty promising so far!
