FIFA 23 Legacy Edition is the next Switch Online gaming test in Europe

Nintendo announced that FIFA 23 Legacy Edition will be offered to Switch Online members in Europe as the service’s newest playtest.

Those with an active subscription can play for free starting March 20, 2023. The full experience will be available until the end of the event. In addition, the recorded data is compatible with the full title.

Playtests are usually accompanied by sales of the main game. So far, Nintendo hasn’t announced anything about this, but it’s something to keep in mind.

Also, we only know for now that FIFA 23 Legacy Edition will be a playtest in Europe. Nintendo has not shared similar information for North America at this time.

Here is some information about the game:

FIFA 23 Legacy Edition features the latest kits, clubs and squads from some of the best football leagues in the world. It will also include the addition of the best women’s club teams and some of the world’s most famous stadiums, including new ones, an updated visual identity and a revamped broadcast overlay package.
FIFA 23 Legacy Edition will have the same features and game modes as FIFA 22 Legacy Edition without significant new developments or improvements.

The following game modes will be included in FIFA 23 Legacy Edition with the same features as FIFA 22 Legacy Edition.

• career mode
• Tournaments: licensed and custom, including UEFA Champions League
• Women’s International Cup
• Skill games
• Online and friendly seasons
• Local seasons

FIFA 23 Legacy Edition will feature a number of FUT campaigns throughout the season.

FIFA ULTIMATE TEAM will include:
• Administrator tasks
• Seasons, tournaments and draft for single player and online
• Online Single Match
• Squad Building Challenges

This game includes optional in-game purchases of virtual currency that can be used to purchase virtual in-game items, including a random selection of virtual in-game items.
