when the last FFXIV Patch dropped, added an Ear Wiggle emote, but doesn’t seem to include a special Viera animation. When someone wins and uses /earwiggle, it will cause Loporrit ears to temporarily appear on their avatar’s head. He does the same for Viera, who already has bunny ears, instead of having them use their hands to move their own ears like in the official New Years 2023 art.

The game’s official TikTok account also shared a video of characters from different races, like a Lalafell or a Miqo’te, showing off while performing it.

win a FFX IV Ear Wiggle Gesture, you need to complete Loporrit tribe main quests which start with “Must Be Dreaming (way). This is the unlock of the “Dreams Come True”. To participate in these main tribal quests, you must have completed walker and “Dream a Little Dream”, in addition to being at Hand Disciple level 80.
