Pioneers of the Distant World it’s a game of open world 2d survival which follows a team of scientists who crash land on a planet. The game is developed by Igloosoft and published by tinyBuild. It will be available in PC and Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam Tuesday May 30, 2023. A recently updated playable demo featuring the game’s first planet is now available on Steam.
In Farworld Pioneers, you start with your best friend Buddy() to build your way to huge colonies on alien worlds. You must find ways to survive using the surrounding resources, hunt local wildlife for health and stamina, and research ways to expand the colony. With a lot of determination, you can even build a ship to transport surviving colonists to other planets with different ecosystems, biomes, and secrets to uncover.
You can play alone or with friends in multiplayer mode, which supports up to 32 people on one server. Seamlessly transition from PvP to co-op, existing between online groups through a dynamic faction system. Danger lurks around every corner, as randomly generated monsters can attack at any time and the larger your base grows, the more likely you will become a target for raiders. Prepare for the onslaught by finding and mining raw materials and equipping survivors with the best protective gear and weapons. There are also plenty of gadgets to discover by researching and upgrading skill trees to increase productivity.
