Evil Geniuses hasn’t been the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team it wants to be lately. The team has struggled to deliver results and missed out on vital opportunities and tournaments because of this, and now, in an attempt to counter and fix this, the esports organization is drastically changing its approach to CS:GO.
As noted in a statement on Twitter, we’re told the team will reduce their main roster from a massive 15-man squad to just 10 players, and then to add to that, EG will combine their two academy squads (black and white ) in one as he looks to further solidify his competitive efforts in the scene.
The team also stresses that more reps for their players will be crucial for success and that they trust sporting director ‘Valens’ and head coach ‘Vorborg’ as leaders capable of turning the tide and restore EG to a dominant force in CS. : Space GO.
