Technically speaking, when thinking about what weapons to give Mika in Genshin Impact, you can literally give him anything you want. Indeed, its main utility comes from increasing the attack speed of its elemental ability. And since it’s something you can increase by leveling up your talents, your natural stats don’t matter. However, you can give Mika weapons that improve her ability to act as a healer on your team.

Mika’s healing from his Elemental Burst is reduced by his Max HP. Thus, weapons that increase will allow you to heal more per normal attack. However, his Burst is a little pricey for the amount of energy it generates, which means energy refill weapons are also useful. These are the two stats you should look for when it comes to building Mika. Some weapons you can consider are:

black tassel

Black Tassel is an incredibly cheap and useful option because its main stat increases your Max HP. Other weapons that boost are like the Staff of Homa, which really should belong to your Polearm DPS characters. While this will reduce Mika’s offensive abilities, he still won’t be your team’s striker. On the plus side, since Black Tassel grants a 40% damage bonus against Slimes, Mika can be your designated Slime Slayer.

Star glitter prototype

The Starglitter Prototype is another good F2P option, as you can craft it in-game. Its main stat is Energy Recharge and it provides almost 50% if you max out its level. This will help make Mika’s Burst available off its cooldown. Honestly, he’s not the most reliable healer, but being able to change him when possible can compensate for bugs or a more aggressive playstyle. The Starglitter Prototype passive increases the DMG of normal and charged attacks by 8% after using an elemental ability. Since Mika won’t really use it, this polearm is a stat stick for him.

Capturing

Like Black Tassel and Prototype Starglitter before it, The Catch is a good F2P polearm that you can get by fishing. It offers the same energy recharge boost as Prototype Starglitter. However, his passive focuses on Elemental Burst DMG instead of normal and charged attacks. Increases your Elemental Burst DMG by 16% and your Crit Rate by 6%. Like the Starglitter Prototype, it’s a stat stick for your energy recharge.

Lanza Favonio

Like the previous two weapons, Favonius Lance’s primary stat is Energy Recharge, though it is significantly lower. However, Favonius Lance’s real usefulness comes from his ability. When you crit an enemy, there is a chance to generate 6 energy for the character. In R5, it’s 100% luck. Currently, Mika works best with forwards like Eula or Kaeya; you can also run it with a character that has a better Cryo app to take advantage of Superconduct. Either way, chances are you have two Cryo characters in your party (including Mika), which means you can take advantage of Cryo Resonance.

The problem with Favonius Lance is that there are a lot of characters who would like to use it. Yun Jin, for example, is a character I would appreciate having Favonius Lance. Unlike Prototype Starglitter and The Catch, it is only available in gacha. If you have Favonius Lance, then Mika should use it. Otherwise, you can consider F2P options.

Genshin Impact is available for PS4, PS5, Windows PC and mobile devices. Mika is a 4 star which means she is still on the gacha.
