Since filming began, a ton of images of various sets from the upcoming Fallout TV series (and even some official ones) produced by Amazon have leaked, all of them surprisingly beautiful. The series is based on the classic video game franchise, although few details have yet been revealed.
One thing we know for sure is that Walton Goggin (Vice Principals, Django Unchained, Maze Runner: Death Cure) is involved with the show as one of the main characters (a ghoul), and he certainly knows a thing or two about the status of said production. And it turns out that the series seems to have concluded its filming. Goggins writes on Instagram:
“I’ve been quiet…busy…but now…I’m done shooting Fallout (wait till you see that fucking tsunami coming!).”
Fallout doesn’t yet have a release window (or even a release year), but it’s believed to hit Prime Video in late 2023 or early 2024. As most filming has already wrapped, we expect late 2023 looks like a very plausible option.
