Where to find Altus Plateau in the Elden Ring

One of the easiest methods is to locate the two pieces of Dectus medallion. These are two items you need to locate, separated somewhere on the map. One of the coins will spawn on top of Fort Haight.which you can find in the southeast region of Mistwoods in Limgrave.
He another piece will be in Fort Faroth, which you can find in Dragonborrow, Caelid. Between the two, Fort Faroth is the most difficult to explore, as it has several high level enemies to encounter and several dragons to avoid.
Once you have both keys, return to the Great Dectus Elevator and interact with the elevator using these two medallions.
