several weeks ago, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo have formalized their absence from the festivities. It is true that for PlayStation we are starting to get used to it, but the non-arrival of Big N and the green mark already foreshadowed a very dark edition.
Recently, other important companies in the sector have expressed their wish not to be present on the site. We think in particular of Ubisoft, Sega, Devolver Digital or Tencent who will not make the trip either. In effect, Summer Game Fest seems to have really taken a back seat to its counterpart, which will host its opening night on June 8. A Starfield Direct, an Xbox Game Showcase or even a Ubisoft Forward will follow on June 11 and 12.
