ESL FACEIT Group has announced that Fortnite’s presence at DreamHack San Diego in early April will usher in the return of the DreamHack Open with Fortnite, which will span three events and serve as a qualifying series for the Gamers8 With Fortnite tournament in Riyadh, Arabia. . DreamHack events will kick off with the event in San Diego from April 7-9, then continue at the DreamHack Dallas event from June 2-4, all before having a presence at the DreamHack Summer tournament from June 16-4. . . We’re told all three events will offer prize pools of $250,000 to give away, with the winners of each going home with $30,000 in prize money.
As for the Gamers8 tournament, it is scheduled for July 6-9 and will bring together 30 qualified teams from DreamHack Open events.
