Back at Arc Revo Japan 2022, Arc System Works announced DNF Dueling would be heading to the Switch and Specter would usher in DLC for the game. Since then, the company has remained silent on both. However, the Arc World Tour 2022 Finals marked a plugin update. Although Specter is still listed as a Summer 2023 add-on, he has been confirmed to be one of five DC characters in the first season pass.

Here is the complete DNF Dueling DLC roadmap, which kicks off with Specter in summer 2023. It will also come with a new system and a new awakening system. Two other characters should provisionally appear in 2023 alongside him. One will appear in Fall 2023. The other will launch alongside a new Stage in Winter 2023. The final two characters in this Season Pass will appear in 2024. There is no exact release window for one or the other.

There are currently 16 playable characters in DNF Dueling. All are based on classes of dungeon fighter onlinea.k.a dungeon and fighter. This means people can end up playing as Berserker, Dragon Knight, Grappler, Kunoichi, and Ranger.

As a reminder, there is also a limited pre-order offer for the Switch version of the game.

DNF Dueling is available for PS4, PS5, and PC, and the Switch release date is April 20, 2023. Specter will usher in the first wave of DLC for its Season Pass in Summer 2023.
