Gameloft has shared patch notes for the upcoming Disney Valley of Dreams lamp update, known as Pride of the Valley. It is expected to be available on April 5, 2023.
The update introduces The Lion King Realm with Simba and Nala, a Disney Parks-based Star Path, and more. This comes with performance improvements, bug fixes, and other technical improvements.
The full patch notes for the Disney Dreamlight Valley Pride of the Valley update are as follows:
NEW CONTENT AND IMPROVEMENTS:
– A new realm gate is opening in Dream Castle: The Lion King Realm!
– Welcome Simba and Nala to the valley as you build your own version of Pride Rock.
– Celebrate Disney Parks with the most ambitious and magical Star Path yet! Create your own Pixar Pal-A-Round, Dumbo the Flying Elephant or Mad Tea Party games and turn your valley into the happiest place on earth!
– Scrooge McDuck’s Store has received a new shipload of exciting new items, including stylish bathroom amenities, mushroom-inspired sets, and more.
– New optional items are coming to the Premium Shop for a limited time! Prepare to live your perfect life at sea in the dreamy style of Prince Eric’s Boathouse and meet the animal-imbued companions of Dreamlight for the first time.
– Take advantage of the return of sunny days outdoors and participate in our Eggstravaganza event from April 8 to 29!
– Create new interactive objects for your animal companions to give them more to do in your valley, including houses, feeders and toys.
– A new selfie pose is now available for each of your animal companions in Photo mode.
– Star Pager command! It seems there have been a few other alien sightings in the valley. You should, uh, talk to Buzz…
– The Well-Noured bonus when eating cooked meals has been reinforced! When well fed, you now have a better chance of getting critical results every time you interact with the world (e.g. picking fruit, catching fish, mining gems, etc.). But that’s not all…
– Move with the ability to hover! When the Well Fed bonus is active, you can now start channeling your magic to race through your valley even faster!
– Take a break. Sitting on a bench, or any other object, anywhere in the Valley will now replenish your energy very slowly.
MAJOR BUG FIXES:
– Players should no longer have trouble starting an encounter with Eric (we heard he was busy with his boat).
– Improved the behavior of companions to reduce the chance of being blocked by them.
– Fixed an issue that prevented some players from feeding bugs while having a Training Manual in their inventory.
– Quest “A Festival of Friendship”: The fourth piece of the Madrigal table should now appear on the beach as intended.
– “The Definition of a Hero” quest: Players should now receive the Space Ranger sideboard needed to complete this quest.
– Mission “A Restaurant Makeover”: Fixed an issue where the player could not complete this mission when entering the restaurant.
– “Remy’s Cookbook” quest: fixed an issue that prevented the cookbook from spawning.
– Mission “The Final Test”: Fixed an issue that caused the Heart of Ice to disappear after planting it for some players.
– “The Lost Prince” quest: After placing the Prince Eric statue, the memory needed to progress in this quest should now generate correctly.
– Changed the Sunstone Shard icon to make it easier to distinguish from Night Shards in Valor Forest.
– The spaceship porthole window should now correctly display a space background.
– Players can now pick up the blue laundry bag in Moana’s house which was blocked by furniture for some people.
– Improved camera collision in Toy Story Realm.
– Fixed an issue that prevented some players from equipping Mickey and Minnie’s D100 Dream Styles.
– Fixed an issue that prevented some players from following quests in the menu.
– Fixed an issue where a small number of players were reporting Star Path rewards disappearing after restarting their game.
– Fixed an issue where some Nintendo Switch users would experience a black screen when entering WALL-E Realm.
– Fixed an issue where a small number of Mac users would crash when entering Sunlit Plateau.
– Fixed an issue preventing some players from picking flowers in the Frosted Heights biome.
– Fixed an issue that caused some quest items to remain in player inventories after completing relevant quests.
– Adjusted stitch pattern.
– Various localization fixes.
– Various audio and visual fixes.
– Various premium shop fixes.
