ZA/UM Studio today announced a new update for elysium nightclub, which adds a new Collage mode. This will be rolling out to Switch “in the coming days.”
Collage mode allows players to create and set the scene in and around the Martinaise. It gives you full access to custom characters, environments, effects, and dialogue to take “the screenshots you’ve always wanted and craft all-new drama, from unforgivable fights to fruity-but-forbidden kisses.”
Here is additional information:
Position, rotate and scale your favorite characters in the game’s pictorial environments, then choose from a variety of silly, no-frills poses to strike.
Create an entire story with a single image by entering custom text that can be placed anywhere and even made authentic using the FELD chat reel.
Bring out your inner Art Cop by applying weird and wonderful filters; choose between rain, fog and snow; as well as changing the time of day to capture the exact mood you’re looking for.
Put gloves and weapons on unsuspecting hands with a huge collection of apparel and decals, or add an extra touch with amazing new artwork from our talented contributors.
Finish by choosing a setting to wrap your fantasy around with bold themes like Kim Catsuragi, F**k The World, Visual Calculus, and Building Communism.
Seek out never-before-seen scenes from throughout the history of the Martinaise if you have your eye on them, and enjoy a velvety new voiceover from the game’s narrator.
ZA/UM Studio Art Director Kaspar Tamsalu said, “Collage Mode is an incredible tool that puts Disco Elysium’s characters, environments, and visual effects in the hands of all players to create works of art. original art. It also lets you take a close look at our brush strokes and pose and spin the character models like toys in the palm of your hand. You can really see up close how the artists came together to create the game’s distinctive look, which extends to the new art we’ve created specifically for this mode.
Collage Mode frontman Chris Priestman also said, “This latest update offers a whole new way to explore the world of Disco Elysium, as it’s part dollhouse, part a blank canvas and a storytelling machine. We did this for our extremely talented fans, as we’ve spent years admiring everything they create, from lavish paintings to memorable short stories to incredible cosplay. Now we hope there will be many more! We just ask that you take it easy with Kim Kitsuragi, he can only accept such love.”
