PS5 Exclusive Fun Games, which is said to be a shooter, can offer both single-player and cooperative modes. The mysterious game has been kept under wraps, but hawk-eyed fans have been gathering clues from job postings and developer profiles.

Deviation Games has yet to reveal its PS5 exclusive

Twitter user Zuby Tech saw a mention of single-player and co-op modes on Deviation Games design director Derek Sunshine’s LinkedIn profile.

The AAA game was previously considered a multiplayer-only live-service title, but job listings later suggested the game would be a shooter with a story-based single-player mode alongside multiplayer. .

Deviation Games was co-founded by Call of Duty veteran Jason Blundell, who announced his departure from the studio in September 2022, just over a year after announcing a partnership with PlayStation. Deviation CEO Dave Anthony said the PS5 project is unaffected by Blundell’s departure and that the “original and innovative AAA IP” will be in good hands.

Deviation Games continues to be led by Call of Duty veterans. Their new SVP, Louise Castle, also previously worked on God of War.

It’s unclear when Deviation Games plans to unveil its project, which appears to have been in development for nearly two years.
