A month after its premiere, Dead Space now offers a new trailer and not just any trailer, since it is a remade version of the most emblematic trailer of the original episode.

Available from January 27 the remake of Dead Space has undoubtedly made the happiness of a large number of players. Although Electronic Arts has yet to reveal the game’s sales figures, it received critical acclaim from audiences, who particularly praised the deep respect Motive showed for the original work. AND the title may have been released over a month ago, but that doesn’t stop the studio from wanting to continue paying homage to it in a very nice way.

An iconic Dead Space trailer also features its remake

The players present at the time will be able to testify to this, the launch of Dead Space had the effect of a veritable tidal wave in 2008. It must be said that the latter was notably marked by the broadcast of a final trailer that has already become iconic: “Lullaby”. Unique in its kind, the latter represented the deeply morbid atmosphere of the title of Visceral Games on the bottom of a chilling lullaby, which still causes real cold sweats today. AND Motive proves it to us by offering us a version that you see of this very trailer.

Born out of fans’ desire to see this updated trailer, the idea was eventually realized at the instigation of Taylor Kingston, a senior environmental artist within the studio.who obviously had the support of his teammates for the occasion. “Being able to modernize one of my favorite trailers from the first game was a really fun project” he then stated in the Xbox Wire columns, before adding: “We are very proud of the result and hope the fans enjoy this wave of nostalgia as much as we do.”.

As a reminder, Dead Space is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
