To celebrate, the two companies decided to shorten the wait for fans and release the game a week ahead of schedule. The zombie killings are about to begin Friday, April 21, 2023.
The groundbreaking Dead Island franchise burst onto the scene in 2011 with one of the most viewed videos of all time. The final episode, which was announced with a gloriously gory trailer at the event Opening Night Live from gamescom in 2022, takes players on a bloody journey in true literary style Pulp to escape Los Angeles, while diving into zombie-infested mayhem with all the over-the-top action and dark humor fans have come to expect.
Until the game is released, Deep Silver will release more gameplay videos for fans of the franchise before embarking on their own fight for salvation on April 21, 2023.
