Cygames showed some games of Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising featuring Anila, the game’s first new character. Anila was teased in a short trailer shown during the Cygames Cup last week.
The latest reveal is a full gameplay trailer featuring the Divine General of South-Southwest mixing it up.
In Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Anila wields her long polearm in battle, with the generous participation of her herd of tamed sheep. You can send sheep running across the screen as projectiles from a distance, or ride them to fill a gap. He can also juggle enemies with his polearm and has a book attack that spawns a huge Japanese kadomatsu decoration that spawns a wave of sheep. Anila was introduced to fantasy granblue in 2015 as a character in “Zodiac”. Zodiac characters are based on the Chinese zodiac and are introduced every new year. She is voiced by Aoi Yuuki (Lucy in cyberpunk rush runners, clementine in Señor) in Japanese. Along with Anila’s gameplay trailer, Cygames also revealed that the upcoming Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising The reveal will be scheduled for Evo Japan. The event takes place between March 31, 2023 and April 2, 2023.
Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising is in development for release on PS4, PS5, and PC in 2023. The original game is available on PC and PS4.
