A fan of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker shared his fan art of Link and the King of the Red Lions while sailing on the Great Sea but with a view type style isometric and it’s great.

This fan posted his fan art on reddit, where other The Wind Waker fans praised his handiwork and the creativity of his perspective art style.

During the February 2023 Nintendo Direct, many fans of The Wind Waker were hoping that the HD version currently available on Wii U would receive the announcement of a Switch port. However, that was not the case. As it stands, The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD are still stuck on the Wii U, leaving fans of those beloved Zelda games in the dark.

Although it was initially a departure from other Zelda titles when it was originally released in 2003 for the GameCube, The Wind Waker is still a fan favorite, as seen in this fan art dedicated to the game.

On the r/Zelda subreddit, a user named Guys_Artwork drew Link aboard the King of Red Lions as they sailed across the Great Sea, using art paper and crayons to create his artwork. The sea itself is just a small three-dimensional square, which could be seen as a reference to the GameCube itself.

With three seagulls flying next to Link and the King of Red Lions, the two figures look to the left side of the paper. Guys_Artwork’s design pays homage to the iconic art style that set The Wind Waker apart from its contemporaries at the time.
