Earlier this month, the Kickstarter of Mika and the Witch’s Mountaina new independent proposal in which we control a little witch who makes deliveries on a beautiful fantasy island, a familiar premise for fans of Kiki: Home servicesthe Studio Ghibli animated film, although with a visual style reminiscent The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is, like Kiki: Home Deliverys, a growing-up adventure where we’ll see a little witch live a story of effort, friendship, and community, as described on her Kickstarter page. “Take your magic broom and discover all the hidden secrets of the mountain while meeting its charming inhabitants», this is what he proposes to us Abraham Cozar and Chibig Studio with this new adventure.

The Mika and the Witch’s Mountain Kickstarter has already raised $500,000 so far this month, so Studio Chibig has already confirmed that the game will come true and we should see its release in October 2023 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam on PC. Additionally, it has already been confirmed that Mika and the Witch’s Mountain will have a physical version on Nintendo Switch, which you can guarantee if you contribute to the Kickstarter campaign.

The goal to create Mika and the Witch’s Mountain was US$40,000, but reaching US$500,000 unlocked several “rewards” from Chibig Studio. Some of these rewards include new outfits for Mika, the Nintendo Switch physical edition, a fishing mini-game, a Mika figurine, a pet, new cutscenes from Alkimia Studio, and a few other goodies.

Three rewards remain to be unlocked through the Mika and the Witch’s Mountain Kickstarter campaign, including new side quests after reaching $550,000, $600,000, and $650,000 USD. Either way, we’re sure to see Mika and Witch Mountain on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, and if all goes well, it will be before the end of the year.

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is heavily inspired by Kiki: Home Delivery, A Short Hike and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

In the meantime, I recommend that you follow the Mika and the Witch Mountain page on social networks so as not to miss the next updates on the project, such as its release date and new trailers that let us see its magic universe and its gameplay.
