While Dredge’s main gameplay loop revolves around you exploring the ocean, catching fish, selling them at one of the island’s ports, and buying upgrades for your ship. You’ll have the option to do this during the day, but it becomes more dangerous at night and when you choose not to sleep, increasing your character’s overall level of panic and hallucinations.

The main story progresses from locate the five relics which you must find for the Collector, a mysterious character you meet shortly after finding your first Abnormal Fish and completing the Grotesque Fish quest. These five relics are scattered over many islands.
