Interesting visual comparisons of different versions of Diablo IV, from older consoles to PCs and next-gen devices, have surfaced online.
The first stage of the Diablo IV beta began on Friday, allowing players to see how the latest installment in Blizzard Entertainment’s hit series performs. During the tests, an early version of the game was made available for PC and consoles, which allowed the channel ElAnalistaDeBits to prepare video images comparing the images of the game on different hardware platforms.
Three videos were made available. The first shows what the game is like on the most powerful platforms, i.e. PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles and PlayStation 5, while the other two compare Diablo IV on different generations of consoles from the same family.

Blizzard games have never impacted the level of visual sophistication, and the charm of their surroundings has always been based on great visual styles. Diablo IV does not break with this tradition. The version for last-gen consoles has noticeably weaker textures and lighting, but even on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 the game looks appealing. It is important to note that on XONE and PS4, the title maintains a stable 30 frames per second most of the time.
The currently ongoing beta phase is only available to those who have pre-ordered and will end today at 21:00 CET. During the second phase of testing, which will run from March 24 to 26, the latest Diablo will be available to all interested parties, without having to purchase pre-orders.
Remember that the premiere of Diablo IV will take place on June 6, 2023. The game will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
