During a recent Paradox Interactive showcase, a huge expansion was announced for Europa Universalis 4. With it, the game’s most popular nations will be updated, and hopefully that means lots of new content and better immersion.

Paradox Interactive has announced Domination, the next expansion for Europa Universalis 4. With it, the most popular and powerful empires will receive new mission trees, management options, state reforms or events.. The nations will be completely redesigned, and with the new features promised by the developers. more depth and better player influence on the course of historical events.

Some of the countries that will receive changes include:

  1. Ottoman Empire,
  2. Porcelain,
  3. Japan,
  4. Russia,
  5. Spain,
  6. France,
  7. Britain,
  8. minor countries like Korea, Prussia and Portugal.

With the DLC we will be able to decide, among other things, whether Japan opens up to the rest of the world or remains isolated. During this time, France will be able to solve the problem of the Wars of Religion and the Ottoman Empire will benefit from new options for expansion.

Additionally, there will be new graphics and music tracks will be introduced as part of the update. More details can be found on Steam. A trailer is also available (below), but unfortunately it doesn’t show much.

We don’t yet know the expansion’s release date., but it should be released this year. Finally, let me remind you that Europa Universalis IV has been available since August 13, 2013 exclusively for PC and has received dozens of expansions to date.
