The fantastic city building game. cities: skylines will officially receive a remastered version next week in the form of Cities: The Remastered Skylines Consolewhich is coming as a free update to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S for anyone who owns the Xbox One version of the game (and hopefully Xbox Game Pass subscribers as well).
This version of Cities: Skylines would offer an “enhanced player experience”. Here is a list of features:
- 25 tiles to build!
- Quick selection tool
- UX improvements (such as precision slots, distance indicator, and updated snapping options)
- New environmental controls panel (adjust things like time of day, rain, fog, and environment color)
- map editor
- And an overall improvement in graphics performance for large city builders!
As mentioned, Cities: Skylines (the Xbox One version) is already available as part of Xbox Game Pass, so we’re expecting the remastered version to be added to the library next week as well, although there isn’t. no confirmation yet.
We’ll know more soon – Cities: Skylines Remastered will launch next Wednesday February 15.
