Cities: Skylines is getting a free update tomorrow called Hubs & Transport. Among other things, it will introduce new transportation hubs.

Last week, Colossal Order revealed plans for Cities: Skylines’ final months of development. The announcement focused on the upcoming DLC. Turns out, that’s not the only additional content targeting the title. Tomorrow game owners will get a free update called Hubs & Transport.

Information about the fix had already surfaced when the roadmap was announced last month. However, that was just a simple tagline placed on the infographic. Only now have the developers decided provide some update details.

As the name suggests, Hubs & Transport will add a number of traffic and public transport related elements to the game: including new transport hubs. A total of 9 such buildings have been prepared. Two of them will be available to owners of the base game. The rest will be available to purchasers of the Snowfall and Mass Transit DLCs.

The update will also introduce 15 brand new route variants. Three of them will be available in the base game. The rest is for owners of the aforementioned DLCs.

There will also be new transit vehicles. Owners of the base game can count on additional models of trains and subways. Mass Transit owners, on the other hand, will receive more monorail and shuttle variants. Interestingly, if you purchased the Natural Disasters DLC, the game will also include an evacuation bus.
