The first gameplay trailer for The Thaumaturge, an 11-bit studio RPG that takes us to Warsaw during the Russian partition, has hit the web.

A few days ago we saw the official announcement from the Thaumaturge, formerly known by his code name Vitriol: an isometric RPG developed by Fool’s Theory (which is also working on a remake of The Sorcerer) and published by 11-bit studios.

The game will take us to Warsaw at the beginning of the 20th century, a time when Poland did not exist as a state and the capital was in the Russian partition. The first trailer for the game, which was made available today, shows what Thaumaturgist gameplay looks like up close.

Based on the images above, you can already form a preliminary opinion about the intriguing atmosphere of pre-WW1 Warsaw depicted in the game.

During the game, we will sometimes summon supernatural creatures.; We are talking about the Salutors, “powerful and mythical” creatures that will help us in our fights.

It’s good to have such allies, because as you can see in the trailer, we will also face enemies that are not of this world. As the creators themselves write:

” influence turn-based combat mechanics Significantly, the Salutors enhance the main character’s abilities and increase their stats, but their presence also affects the narrative aspect and allows the player to manipulate other characters to achieve personal goals.

the pitcher will initially be released exclusively on PC on Steam, GOG.com and Epic Games Store. The release date remains unknown.

He played in various bands during his high school and college years, but was not successful with any of them, however, he partly earns his living through music; unfortunately he plays pot music at weddings. He studied journalism and took his first steps in radio, but he did not stay there long, preferring to look for something else. He held various jobs, often unrelated to his profession; for several years he was even a bartender. He arrived at GlobeLiveMedia in December 2020 and since then has been a loyal Newsroom Padawan, although he also worked with Friendly Fire, where he was in charge of their TikTok.
