If you’ve been browsing the Xbox Store in the past 24 hours and come across a message suggesting that a game is “Can’t play on this device» and you don’t understand why, you are not alone! Fortunately, this is only a visual bug.
We’ve seen reports of many Xbox users on social media wondering why games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider, red dead redemption 2 there batman arkham caballero all incorrectly display this message:
That can’t be true, can it? It says Batman Arkham Knight Premium Edition and Season Pass “Cannot be played on this device” (Series X). All of these games, of course, can be played on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. WWE 2K23 The Icon and Deluxe editions are also playable on all of these platforms starting today (despite what the Store may tell you):

Hopefully Microsoft will fix this problem very soon, but until then you can be sure that this is just a bug and nothing more. If you’re wondering if a certain game is compatible with your chosen console, it’s definitely worth doing some extra research online until that bug is resolved.
