When Minecraft first came out, saddles were one of the rarest items you could find in the game. There weren’t many ways to find them in the wild, which was a shame if you wanted to ride a mount. Where to find saddles in Minecraft

There are several ways to find saddles in Minecraft. The easiest would be to fish for them in water source blocks. If you have a few enchantments on a fishing rod, just cast your line in the water and you’ll eventually pull out a saddle or two. However, there are plenty of items you can find using this method, so hopefully you’ll be lucky here no matter what you get.

You can also find saddles located in chests in various places. Dungeons with monster spawners and Nether fortresses are the most common areas, but there may be a small chance that they will also spawn in abandoned mine shafts, temples, or other spawned areas. Basically, if you see a chest in the world, there’s a chance there’s a saddle inside.

If you are tired of walking and not finding a saddle, you can also exchange them. Fully leveled villagers can trade a saddle with you for emeralds. Unfortunately, it’s not guaranteed what they’ll give you each day, but let them sleep in a bed for the night and your stock will be refreshed.
