Activision and Infinity Ward have just released the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 launch trailer, finally showing off a bit more of the multiplayer content coming to MW2 this month.
The highlight here are the free maps and modes that are coming as part of the game’s second big seasonal content drop. Fan-favorite modes “Gun Game” and “Infected” return this season, along with two multiplayer maps not so news “Dome” and “Valderas Museum” and the release of MW2 Ranked Play.
Those are just the 6v6 offerings though, with the Season 2 roadmap well-equipped for Warzone 2.0 and “Ground War” players. Two maps are coming to the base game’s big team Ground War mode, while Warzone 2 is getting a new map, new POIs, and more this season, including new DMZ content.
All of these perks carry over throughout Season 2, as shown in the roadmap above, with most of the content arriving on Season 2’s launch day. February 15.
