We have quite a few exciting new releases coming to Xbox in April 2023 that might go unnoticed, and one of them is Bramble: King of the Mountain which will launch on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in April 27.

This adventure title is described as a “passing and disturbing journey” in which you play the role of a boy who sets out to save his sister after she has been kidnapped by a troll. Inspired by dark Norse fables, the game challenges you to “survive deadly encounters with Bramble’s many hideous creatures” while exploring a “wonderful” landscape.

Bramble: The Mountain King already has a free demo for PC and PlayStation which has received good feedback so far, but sadly there’s no sign of an Xbox demo yet.

We’ll leave more details and screenshots below:

“Bramble The Mountain King takes you on a captivating and haunting journey through stunning environments. Play the role of Olle, a boy who sets out to save his sister, kidnapped by a fearsome troll.

Summons the Spark of Courage, an enchanted shard that grants you the gifts you need to overcome the pitfalls and trials in your path. Defeat the horrible creatures you encounter in different and unique ways. Beware, courage without kindness can lead you down a dark path.”
