Black Desert Online for PC celebrates its seventh anniversary! Follow the live broadcast of the day March 3 at 9 p.m. on YouTube and Twitch channels. Starting today, players will be able to log in, join in the festivities, and receive free rewards. The 7th anniversary event will last until Wednesday, March 29.
To showcase Black Desert Online’s most notable achievements over the past seven years (along with milestones reached in 2022), Pearl Abyss has created an infographic with player milestones, pet and monster stats, game favorites, and more. In 2022, North American and European players already loved Black Desert Online in many ways: their favorite class was the dark knight, they chose the Kuku bird more as a pet, and they hunted the centaur axeman more than any other monster. On the North American and European servers, there are over 8 million registered characters.
But there’s still plenty to celebrate, especially with the long-awaited expansion for PC “The Land of Radiant Dawn”, which will happen this year. The new region, inspired by Korean folklore, is packed with new enemies and unique stories, fascinating territories to explore, and rewards that add to Black Desert Online’s biggest expansion yet in 2023. “We are thrilled that so many adventurers joined Black Desert last year,” said Jaehee Kim, Executive Producer of Black Desert. “Over the past year, we’ve uncovered some interesting insights into our players’ preferences, and we’re excited to share it today via this infographic.” For example, Sunday is the preferred game day, 76,000 treasure chests have been crafted, and world boss Karanda Stormy is responsible for the most player deaths.
“It’s milestones like these that inspire us to imagine new, unique gaming experiences,” Kim added. “As we move forward, we decide to strengthen our growing community by offering them great new adventures, like the upcoming Land of Radiant Dawn”
Black Desert Console
Black Desert Console is also celebrating four years on Xbox and three on Cross-Play for Xbox and PlayStation. Watch the Black Desert for Consoles Anniversary Stream at 9:00 p.m. on March 4 on YouTube and Twitch. Until March 29, players will be able to participate in a wide variety of events and receive valuable rewards.
Amazon Prime Gaming Rewards on PC and Consoles
To take the celebration a step further, Pearl Abyss has created a special anniversary pack for Amazon Prime Gaming members only, worth over €50.
