An interesting future awaits us, my friends. You’ve probably heard all the talk about “AI” lately, like the ChatGPT chatbot making headlines, and now we’re starting to get a glimpse of how video game “leaks” will evolve. in the future with this technology. In fact, it is already taking over!
One of the stories circulating over the weekend was a star field Leaked image apparently taken from an upcoming trailer. This turned out not to be the case, instead it was created with an AI art generation service called Midjourney. Here is an overview:

No damage, right? That’s true, but there are more disturbing examples if you look around. Earlier this month, an audio clip that appeared to show Bethesda’s Todd Howard saying some very NSFW (seriously, be careful) things about The Elder Scrolls 6 racked up over 400,000 views on YouTube, and we have to admit the voice rang extremely Convincing.
Many commenters on the video thought the same:
“It’s so well done it’s downright terrifying.”
There’s a lot of potential to have fun with this, but what happens when people start to actually believe these apparent leaks? It will be very interesting to see how this plays out in the months and years to come…
