Bethesda really takes its time with everything Starfield, doesn’t it? We guess this should be a good thing in the long run, given the recent release of some Bethesda games! Regardless, a recent Discord post from a Bethesda developer suggests the team is still figuring out what to show off at their next Starfield event.

The team’s community manager, “VaultOfDaedalus,” explains why we haven’t heard anything concrete about the program yet. Basically, the team is still “working things out” for exposure rather than “holding back” specific information for the time being.

“We will have more information to share about the showcase when it is ready, while working. I know that’s not the answer you want, but nothing specific is held up.”

Despite the somewhat pessimistic opinion of the Twitter account above, we don’t think there’s anything to worry about here. We’re only weeks away from the first Xbox Developer Direct showcase. It will take a little time to put another one together!

Either way, the upcoming showcase should give a good look at Starfield. When Microsoft announced its Starfield Direct, the team’s reasoning was to give Bethesda’s upcoming RPG the “right time for a deep dive” since the game skipped January’s wider Xbox showcase. Hopefully we will also have a release date soon!

How excited are you for the upcoming Starfield performance? Let us know below!
