About two weeks ago, it was bad news from the developers at DICE which indicated that Battlefield 2042 was postponed from October 22 to November 19. Today the best news, with the announcement of the open beta dates.

Battlefield 2042, its tornadoes and zip lines above the buildings, will therefore be approached from October 6 to 9, with a little subtlety. From October 6 to 7, access will be open to players who have pre-ordered title or being subscribed to EA Play. Next, all players will be invited to launch the title on all platforms. They will be able to face each other on Orbital with “a varied selection of Specialists, advanced weapons and vehicles”. For those who wish to participate in the open beta will be able to preload the game data from October 5 at 8 a.m. French time on PC, and at 9 a.m. on console.

In the meantime, you can enjoy the trailer dedicated to this open beta, full of gameplay snippets, explosions, and, of course, tornadoes! As a reminder, this episode of the Battlefield license will be devoid of solo campaign to focus on large scale multiplayer battles.
