Bandai Namco has shared even more details about Baten Kaitos I and II HD Remasterrevealing that the game will allow players to increase game speed and combat speed, and will even have New Game + and New Game – options.
Additional information has started pouring in after the reveal of the latest Nintendo Direct. We’ve already heard of features like the ability to disable enemy encounters, auto-battles, skip scenes, and auto-saves.
The speed of the game and the speed of the battle will allow players to increase the speed of the action. There will be options for 100%, 200% and 300%. New Game+ has been in other RPGs, and here players can bring Level, Rank, and Magnus. New game: It will offer more challenges.
Other features mentioned include defeating enemies with a single strike, simple display of battle results, and a help function.

Added new handy features to make gameplay smoother
With a variety of new features, the game is easier to play than ever.
Six different adjustable parameters
Adjust settings, including game speed and random enemy encounters, and save them as your favorite way to play. This is adjustable at any time. The adjustable parameters are:
- No Encounters – Disable random enemy encounters
- Instant KO – Allows enemies to be defeated with a single blow
- Game speed: choose between three options (100%, 200% and 300%)
- Combat Speed – Choose from three options (100%, 200%, and 300%)
- Simple Battle Results Display: Switches to a simpler display of mid-battle results after each round
- Auto-Battle – Allows battles to be played automatically
- auto-save function
- Help Feature – Check the meaning of key terms and how to play from the system menu.
“New game +” mode
This mode allows you to restart the game after completing it once, retaining the level, rank, and Magnus from the initial run.
“New game -” mode
This mode imposes restrictions on what is available for a much more difficult challenge.
Bandai Namco is bringing Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster to Switch this summer.
