The players of Apex Legends are used to getting a new legend every new season that comes along, but this time the developers of Spawn Entertainment have decided to change things up for season 16.

And now, instead of a new legend, players will be introduced to the new five-class legend system in the Season 16which includes a new perk system tied to each Legend category.

However, ahead of its release, players are already expressing strong concerns about the new system, with some Apex Legends players even concerned about the Legend class system in Season 16. So clearly defined roles and all Legends will be placed into one of the five classes introduced in Season 16, with each class having its own unique perk attached to it.

However, in a new Reddit thread on February 10, he revealed one of the fears players have, where they started to voice their concerns about the new classes. Initially, player ‘wera125’ noted that Assault, Support, and Recon perks seemed to be much better than Skirmish and Controller.

Many in the thread agreed with the player, but went into more detail on how the classes seem to balance considering the callouts placed on them: “Controller makes sense so they know where to to protect. Skirmisher, I think it’s meant to be a bit weaker to balance out the inherent advantage of movement skills,” another player wrote.

“Skirmisher legend pick rate is already much higher on average and that’s why it is,” said another. “They probably felt that further polishing was unnecessary.”

The launch of Season 16 is right around the corner and it’s expected to be a breath of fresh air for players after a longer than usual Season 15, so now we’ll have to wait and see how it goes. new Legend classes roll out, we’ll see how it works.
